That is some gall!

About two months ago, Shannon and I ate dinner somewhere. That night I was crippled with pain.I thought it was heartburn, the reason is, I rarely get heartburn. I'm one of the lucky people that rarely gets heartburn or allergies of any kind. So I sat up all night, thinking it was heartburn, realized it was 5am and went to work.
About a week or two later, same thing happened. When it happened the third time, I found a new Dr here in the new burb. He suggested taking a three week routine to see if it is acid reflux.
Well, I guess it wasn't acid reflux. I called the office and they scheduled an Ultrasound to look at something. I went in at 8:30am. Drove to work afterwards and received a call from the Doctor. Here's the cool part(IMHO), The tech did the ultrasound, made a zip file of all the images, then emailed them to my Dr, who called me 4 hours later to let me know that I had 3 large gall stones and needed to have my Gall bladder removed. 15-20 years ago, someone would have to process the images, then make prints, snail-mail them to the Doctor, wait for him to go thru his mail to call me and let me know what they found. All the while I would have missed another 2-3 days of work.
So he refers me to a surgeon, who scheduled the procedure.I was put under abt 1pm, woke up at 3:30,and I was home at 8pm. After downing half a bottle of vicodin I'm back about 70%.
